I have lately gotten more requests for posting announcements on my blog, and will do so under the "Announcements" heading. Here is the latest:
The Monrovia Adult School has an exciting new department! Monrovia Learns is offering some great classes that enrich and support family life in our community.
Located inside the Canyon Early Learning Center, some of the classes include:

There is a peace March on Monday 10am begining at Huntington and Buena Vista in Duarte. This event is being organized by " Enough Is Enough llc" Mentors for youth. We will march to Huntington and California and then return to the Albertsons parking lot for refreshments. We urge anyone concerned with our community to attend to show support. The youth are the KEY in all of this. That is where it starts. We must be proactive. For more on Enough is enough please visit groups.myspace.com/peaceinmonroviaduarte an anti gang violence positive young peoples group that was created by teens for teens in regard to these issues. This group page is full of information that is factual and not rumor or spin. Please attend the march to show support for your community!
