Rudy's
Here's one of the more popular Mexican restaurants in town, Rudy's. They've recently expanded and have a bar and banquet area in the next room. Decent food and fast, polite service.
Notice the new plantings in the foreground along with the rennovated sidewalk and pretty black cobblestone style cross walk.

This picture is looking south on Myrtle. Rudy's is on the east side of the street, so it must have been uploaded backwards.

Oops, sorry, I stand corrected. I see now that this picture is actually looking east across Myrtle.

yes...and any pic uploaded backwards would have the text reversed!

Yum..Rudy's! Rudy is a great guy, it's one of those places where once they know you, you come and sit down and they tell you what you were going to order and you just say "Yes" :-)
I really miss Ely's which was down the street here where the Cajun place was. Ely's used to be a hole-in-the-wall a couple of doors down but they expanded and made that restaurant which had a nice run until the owner retired. I saw him a couple of years ago while paying a traffic ticket and he gave me the recipe to one of his killer sauces. That was worth the price of the traffic ticket!
