Gosh how I wish this was still here! :P Found this postcard on the web in search. Fabulous. I'd love to get a collection going of old Monrovia postcards.

Let's not blow the secret. Monrovia is the sort of wonderful old time modern town/city; where when you call the mayor and get his voicemail, he calls you back in less than ten minutes. The sort of hometown where almost everyone knows almost everyone, and you don't worry that you don't quite know everyone, after all, there's plenty of time to get around to it...tomorrow, next week, Friday night at the festival.
I'm 70% thinking this place is still there on East Huntington. It's confusing because the North side of Huntington in the E. 700 block is Monrovia while the street scaping and South side is in Duarte.

I'd say, "Ya'll come", but...maybe not.

Yes, I think it is still there, sort of..

VERY Route 66! Which, of course makes sense, since the postcard shows it was on the historic highway.
