Unknown butterfly
Spotted this guy in the garden today and he looked pretty fixed on his branch, so I thought I'd try to see if he's hitch a ride on my finger. Lo' and behold! And he held firm through my entire impromptu photoshoot. Good thing I had my camera in my purse! Anyone know what kind of butterfly he is?

that's a Gulf Fritillary (agraulis vanillae). P.S. excellent photo!
